About Wetzel County Court Docket

Wetzel County court dockets are divided among the Circuit Clerk, Magistrate Clerk, Family Court, and municipal offices. West Virginia also provides separate statewide systems for circuit and magistrate searches. We organize those official routes so visitors can identify the proper portal, records counter, mailing address, or telephone number without confusing the courts or their custodians.

Why We Built This Site

West Virginia permits broad access to court records, but finding the right Wetzel County custodian can be difficult. Lori Wetzel McCoy, the Circuit Clerk, keeps circuit civil and criminal records. Cindy D. Adams, the Magistrate Clerk, keeps traffic, misdemeanor, preliminary-examination, and small-civil records. WVPASS searches public circuit cases, while MCRSearch covers magistrate case information. We bring those distinct contacts, search routes, number formats, and request steps together in a practical reference.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a West Virginia court, clerk, or government agency. Our role has firm limits:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports free public access to our reference material. We neither set the provider's charges nor control the records it returns.
